SHOOTOUT SHOOTOUT SHOOTOUT!!!

OK, so I was going to do a live feed, but it seems that they generate more questions than answers. So, OLD SCHOOL TYPED WORDS IT IS THIS TIME....read along and be amazed!! (**PLEASE** read it all, and avoid the embarrassment of asking a question that was already explained)

The High Roller Shootout concept has not performed as anticipated, so some changes are being made. Like, a lot of changes.....let's just start with what *will* happen this Sunday!

I'm taking the "start small and build" approach, versus doing a bunch of classes as planned initially. Not to mention, there are several similar races being held on that weekend, so there's no sense in thinning out anybody else's races, as well as our own. That's no good for anybody. That having been said, the five classes have been reduced to *one* for this go around--275. The rules for the 275 are the same as the usual Anarchy program (anarchynoprep.com/rules), and Jr cars (and anybody else that fits, really) are welcome to come join them, using said 275 rule set!!
(Edit: Yes, it needs f**ckin doors!)

Also, while this was initially slated to be a No Prep race, as many of you know, Biz's event leading up to this ("I Declare War") is going to be expertly prepped by Kurt Johnson's legendary Total Venue Concepts for the two days prior, so doing a No Prep on the heels of that seems like a silly idea. It would be very difficult to undo all that prep work, and honestly why the hell would you do such a thing? SO, this time we're gonna "let em eat" and keep the track prepped all day long!!

Lastly, being that I'm expecting a much smaller program, it wasn't fair to the track to take the whole day for one class, so they will be running a test and tune (NO street tires. drag radial or slick only) during the day as well, giving racers a chance to run on a *ridiculously* well-prepped track. The Shootout will run rounds in between, starting at 12:00. ANNNNNDDDDD--regular spectator admission will be available at gate!! (all advance tickets sold have been refunded)

SO, here's the program as it stands right now. If it goes well, we can look into expanding it a bit for future dates...

Entry: $300 (pay on race day--cash only; covers car/driver & 2 crew VIP bands only--must pay spectator admission) MUST BE PAID IN BY 11:00
Payout: 100%, 80/20; I add $1000 @ 8 cars; $2,000 @ 16
(Example: $3400 in @ 8 = $2700/$700; $5800 @ 16 = $4600/$1200)
Crew: Pays spectator admission
Random draw by drivers (chip--don't be late)
Starting method: TBD (need to confirm w/track, likely .100 pro auto)

That's pretty much it. I'm exhausted, and I don't think I forgot anything....so here we go! Let's have some fun!!

Now what do we call it??
"Anarchy 275 Shootout" maybe?
